Welcome to Thrive Pelvic Health!

PLEASE READ NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. I plan to open my waitlist again in the September (possibly August). I will update this page at that time.

JULY AVAILABILITY: My availability is very limited over the month of July and will be at my discretion. Please keep your June appointments as we may not be able to follow up until August. July appointments can only be booked by contacting me directly and are for priority (pregnancy, postpartum, urgent matters, or early follow ups).

PRICE INCREASE - will occur in September and not in June as originally planned. This is to reflect the longer appointment times that both myself and my patients have come to find very helpful. In order to provide education, exercises, and hands on therapy, these longer appointment times are needed. Initial Assessments (75 minutes): currently $130 will be $140.00. Follow up sessions (60 minutes): currently $100 will be $110.

I am so glad you are here and I’m excited to help you on your healing journey! I provide one-on-one care, long appointment times, and have the most beautiful and non-clinical space that is supportive of healing.

Current patients: although my schedule looks busy, there are often cancelations so please add yourself to the waitlist to automatically be notified via e-mail if an appointment has opened up. Please do not put yourself on the waitlist is you are not a current patient of mine.

Unfortunately I do not offer direct billing at this time. I provide either a printed or emailed invoice that is easy for you to submit to your insurance company. I do not accept MVA, WSIB or OHIP insurance coverage.

Karen Chychul B.A.Kin., M.Sc. PT, Registered Physiotherapist

Karen is a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist and owner of Thrive Pelvic Health. She graduated from Western University in 2007 with degrees in Kinesiology and Psychology. She then completed her Masters degree in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University, graduating in 2011. She has over 12 years of experience as an Orthopedic Physiotherapist working with all ages and injuries. The birth of her daughter in 2022 was when her passion for women’s health began and at this time she started the process of becoming a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist.

Karen lives in Norfolk County with her husband, their 2.5-year-old daughter, and their two beloved dogs. She loves to stay active, cook, garden, be by water, and get outdoors as much as possible.
